Josh Bradlow (Stonewall)

Josh is Policy Officer at Stonewall, Britain’s largest organisation campaigning for lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT) equality.

In this role, he leads on the organisation’s lobbying and research on education and young people. This includes writing School Report 2017, research with the University of Cambridge, which is the most comprehensive insight to date into the bullying faced by LGBT young people in Britain’s secondary schools. Prior to this role, Josh worked as the Policy Assistant to Ruth Hunt, Stonewall’s Chief Executive, and as a Project Management and Policy Development intern at Cancer Research UK. Josh has a Bachelor’s degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge.

I am passionate about ensuring that every young person gets the chance to grow up and learn in an environment where they feel safe and supported. I’m looking forward to learning from the other members of the Advisory Group about their work, and to sharing our own best practice in tackling anti-LGBT bullying in Britain’s schools.
