SEAL resources

The previous Department for Education and Skills (DFES) and Department for Children School and Families (DCSF) drew on evidence from the US that social and emotional learning (SEL) has a positive impact on school achievement and behaviour, and designed an equivalent programme for primary and secondary schools in England.  Although the programme is not actively promoted by the current government, a large number of schools continue to find the materials and the approach extremely beneficial.
