The Government has recently published non-statutory guidance supporting schools to teach pupils how to stay safe online. This can be especially helpful when studying new and existing subjects, including Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education, Health Education, Citizenship and Computing.
Within the guidance there are links to age specific advice designed to equip children and young people for a digital life, as well as a comprehensive guide to what curriculum areas can cover potential online harms that might be present in the lives of children and young people.

Relationships Education can look at online relationships, and about different types of bullying (including cyberbullying), the impact of bullying, responsibilities of bystanders (primarily reporting bullying to an adult) and how to get help.
